AP EAMCET Results 2022 Live: 89.12% Pass in Engg stream, 95.06% in Agriculture

As EAMCET results are now out, APSCHE will next begin the counselling process for Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy admissions. More details expected soon. 

AP EAMCET was held on multiple days and shifts and a normalization process was used to eliminate any variations in difficulty levels of various sessions and to ensure that no student gets advantage/disadvantage due to multiple sessions. 

“The normalization process brings all the candidates across all sessions on a comparative scale. Due to this process, the marks in the easy sessions may be reduced marginally and marks in the difficult session may increase marginally on the global scale. Normalized marks justify the candidate while taking into account their actual performance,” APSCHE said.

The qualifying marks for EAPCET-2022 is 40 (i.e 25%) out of 160 for OC and BC candidates. There is no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST candidates.

Pass percentage: 89.12%

A a total of 83,411 candidates out of 87,744 who appeared in the Agriculture stream have qualified for counselling. The overall pass percentage is 95.06%.

The overall pass percentage in Engineering stream is 89.12%.

Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has announced EAMCET results. 

The official website for EAMCET results, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET is not working. Candidates will have to wait for some more time to get results.

Link to check EAPCET Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy results will be available on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in after 11 am. 

Along with results, APSCHE may also release final answer keys of Engineering; Pharmacy and Agriculture streams. Preliminary answer keys were shared with candidates earlier and they were allowed to raise objections, if any. 

Along with AP EAMCET results, names of toppers in different streams will be announced. 

This time, AP EAMCET ranks will be based only on the entrance test result and no weightage will be given to Inter marks. The same rule was followed last year as well.

“100% weightage to the marks secured in EAPCET-2022(Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) for determining the overall ranking for the purpose of admissions into professional courses for the Academic Year 2022-23,” APSCHE said.

5. Submit and view result. 

AP EAMCET results will be announced at a press conference. Once it is over, candidates can check their results on  cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
