With a dream of becoming Scientist as Stephen William Hawking, this girl says that today she stepped on the first ladder of becoming Scientist soon after she came to know about her 12th results declared by Haryana Board of Education.

Heena, who uses only one name, got first position in the state with 98.2% marks. Her school is at walking distance and she first called her principal and her teachers and within few minutes Heena reached at her Government Senior Secondary School, Patel Nagar, Hisar, with sweets.

“I always followed Stephen William Hawking, who is my ideal and wanted to become a Scientist like him. I feel today after my results declared that, I stepped first ladder to become Scientist,” Heena, student of Non-Medical stream told Hindustan Times.

Heena said that she adopted smart ways of studies, when confused over clearing of topics, she took help from Internet search, teachers and books.

Father Prem Kumar, works at a photo framing shop and mother Pooja is housewife. Her mother Pooja said, “My daughter is really hard-working girl. She got 6th position in her class X examinations. After finishing her classes, she start her studies for two hours and 3 hours, early in the morning.”

“I was making tea when the result announced she came shouting and hugged me. I am sure that my daughter will become a good scientist one day,” mother Pooja added.

Heena said that now her aim is to get admission at top level college to pursue her B.Tech in Computer Science. Her father Prem Kumar said that he is really happy and want Pooja’s bright future.
