The candidates who appeared for the exam can see the results on the official website of the university, said LU spokesperson NK Pandey.

Lucknow University announced the results of UG entrance test on its official website on Sunday along with details about the counselling guidelines.

The candidates who appeared for the exam can see the results on the official website of the university, said LU spokesperson NK Pandey.

As per the details displayed on the website the university will hold off-campus online counselling this time for LLB, BSc, BCA and other courses.

“In the first step candidates have to register and submit choices online. They have to submit choice even if counselling is for a single option,” Pandey said.

Only candidates within the declared rank can participate in the online counselling.

As per the tentative schedule the counselling will be held by the second week of June. The university has also released the list of important documents that will be required by the students while applying for the counselling process.

From this time the university has also decided to provide 10% reservation under EWS (Economically Weaker Section) quota.

“All candidates will have to pay Rs3,000 as advance fee which is refundable and Rs200 as registration fee which is non-refundable through online modes only for the counselling,” Pandey said. “In case the candidate is not allotted a seat the advance fee of Rs3,000 would be refunded into the account details provided by them.”

If the candidate is allotted a seat, the advance fee will be adjusted in the total fee for that programme. In case the candidate is allotted a seat and she/he does not deposit the seat confirmation fee, the advance fee of Rs3,000 will not be refunded, Pandey added.

While candidates can give as many choices as they want, the university has suggested candidates with lower rank are advised to give more choices so that they are not denied allotment.
