PMI Educational Foundation announces 2010 doctoral research grants
The Project Management Institute (PMI) has announced the 2010 doctoral research grants in project, programme, and/or portfolio management. Requests for proposals will be made and grants awarded twice a year – solely for doctoral thesis. For the 2010 grant cycle, a single award of up to US $23,750 or multiple awards of up to US $23,750 will be announced by mid-September 2010.
Applications will be accepted from both full-time and part-time doctoral students at accredited colleges and universities. Proposed research must advance academic knowledge and have implications for practice. Non-doctoral researchers are not eligible to apply for the grant or can apply for the PMI sponsored research program grant, administered by the PMI Academic Resources Department. Doctoral students attending an accredited college/university are eligible. No grants are made directly to individuals. Candidates must provide the name of the college/university accrediting body. The submission deadline for proposals is July 1. For more details, check www.pmi.org/pmief/scholarship/doctoral-research.asp.
