West Bengal Group D final result announced, check merit list

West Bengal Group D Recruitment Board has released the result of Group D recruitment examination 2017. The result has been finalised on the basis of written examination and the interview.

The candidates can log in, using the application serial number and date of birth for checking of their results.

The category-wise Merit List of provisionally selected candidates has been uploaded on the Board’s website www.wbgdrb.in .

The merit list of the provisionally selected and wait-listed candidates will be forwarded to the State Government for selection of candidates for appointment in Group D posts.

Candidates should visit board’s official website regularly for latest updates on the recruitment process and the result.

West Bengal government had constituted the West Bengal Group-D Recruitment Board on November 17, 2015, for recruitment of around 60,000 Group-D personnel, in phases, against the vacant sanctioned posts available in the various offices of the government of West Bengal.

The Recruitment Board started functioning from January 2016. Applications were invited on-line for recruitment of 6000 Group D personnel in the offices of the state government, located all over the West Bengal. In response to the advertisement, 24.68 lakh valid applications were submitted.

Written Examination 2017 was held on May 20, 2017. Interview process of successful candidates started on October 16, 2017.
