Harish Rawat loses both seats

Uttarakhand’s incumbent chief minister Harish Rawat has lost from both seats – Kichha and Haridwar rural. The Congress looks set for a heavy defeat in the state as trends showed the party leading in just 11 seats, 21 down from the last time. The BJP, ahead in 55, appears headed for a sweeping victory.
