Description:Shrawon Kumar is a senior leader in the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) and a close confidant of Nitish Kumar. He is a seven-time consecutive MLA from the Nalanda assembly constituency, which is also Nitish Kumar's home district. Their close relationship is so well-known that there is speculation about him being involved in the political training of Nitish Kumar's son, Nishant. A veteran minister in the Nitish Kumar government, Shrawon Kumar's association with Nitish Kumar dates back to the Samata Party era, when he first won the Nalanda seat for the party in 1995. For the past 30 years, he has been an MLA and remains undefeated right up to the 2020 election.
