Gujarat election 2022 Highlights| Three held for flying camera-drone near venue of PM Modi's rally at Bavla

Assembly elections in Gujarat will be held in two phases on December 1 and December 5 and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.

Gujarat has been witnessing high voltage campaigning for assembly election scheduled for the next month with all the top leaders of the BJP, Congress, and AAP urging voters to elect them. A total of 788 candidates, including 70 women, are in the fray for the first phase of the Gujarat assembly polls, which will be held on 89 of the 182 Assembly seats on December 1.

The Election Commission has confirmed that a total of 1,621 candidates will contest Gujarat polls next month as the deadline to withdraw nominations got over Tuesday.
