Priyanka Chopra, who turns a year older today (July 18), will have a small family get-together to celebrate her birthday. A source close to the actor reveals that there is certainly no big celebration planned this year.

The source says, “Since Priyanka is dealing with a huge personal loss (her father, Ashok Chopra, passed away in June), there’s going to be no celebration. Instead, she will have a quiet, sit-down dinner with her mother, brother and some close family members. Priyanka is in no mood to do anything. But since it’s her birthday, her mom has a little surprise planned for her. Nothing major, but just something that she will like.”

The actor has only recently returned from her trip to Manipur where she had gone to meet Mary Kom, for some research for her upcoming biopic on the Olympic medallist.
