Abhishek will cover Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Baroda and Mumbai in a private jet. The tour will focus on interaction with viewers after they have seen the film, followed by a news conference in each city.

Delhi 6 showcases the heart of India, the India that resides in various towns and cities,” says the actor. “So this tour is a physical journey to such places to get a true feel of the nation.”

While the Limca Book of Records is sending its rep with Abhishek on his trip, the film’s publicity team is recording everything live to be sent as authentic evidence to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Abhishek leaves Delhi today at 11 am and will try to reach Mumbai at the same time tomorrow, completing the tour. Siddharth Kapoor, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, the producer of Delhi 6, says, “This was Abhishek’s idea and the UTV marketing team jumped at it. This tour promises to generate tremendous buzz.”
