Aishwarya Rai Bachchan breaks Karva Chauth fast over Skype

The Bachchan family has been a traditional one. So, when women across the country celebrated Karva Chauth, Bachchan bahus were not behind. However, unlike other wives, Aishwarya could not break the fast after seeing the face of her husband as Abhishek Bachchan is on outdoor shooting.

However, unlike other wives, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan could not break her fast after seeing the face of her husband in person as Abhishek Bachchan is shooting abroad.

But technology came to her rescue and Aishwarya broke her fast after looking at Abhishek's face through Skype.

Father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, tweeted on Tuesday night, "Abhishek out of country on shoot .. so face of husband seen through Skype, for Karvachauth by Aishwarya .. what times we live in !!"

Later he wrote about the festivites, "Karvachauth' over ... moon sighted, prayers done through the sieve, food eaten and water drunk by the wives ..dressed in fineries!"
