Refuting rumours about their alleged relationship, Scottish actor Gerard Butler has revealed that his The Bounty Hunter co-star Jennifer Aniston is like family.

Scottish actor Gerard Butler has said that his The Bounty Hunter co-star Jennifer Aniston is like family.

Refuting rumours that the pair became romantically involved during shooting of the film, the 40-year-old actor said that he and the former Friends star are nothing but ‘good friends.’

"I literally became a member of her family," the New York Daily News quoted him as telling People.com.

"I went down for her birthday in Mexico. Of course, everyone takes that as something else, but we are very good friends," he added.

Aniston, 41, reciprocated the same feelings for Butler, calling him "funny and handsome – [a] nice combo!"
