Marc Anthony, who was accused of cheating on wife Jennifer Lopez by romping with long-time friend Jada Pinkett Smith, has revealed that he was worried about the ill effects the rumours might have had on Smith’s children.
After Anthony and Lopez had filed for divorce in July this year, speculations were rife that he might have been having a fling with the ‘Matrix Reloaded’ star.
But now, Anthony has hit back at the reports, claiming in an interview with US news show Nightline that the most upsetting aspect of the gossip was the impact it would have had on Smith’s children, son Jaden, 13, and daughter Willow, 10.
“When something like that (affair rumours) happens, it’s laughable. We were laughing about it because we’ve been friends for years. Jada, Jennifer, me, him, for years,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
“What bothers me is the affect it has on family... to Will and Jada and their children and their relatives and their loved ones,” he added.
