Actor Anupam Kher’s Mumbai house was attacked by stone-pelters in his absence, on Saturday night. Alleged activists of Republican Party of India (RPI) protested Kher’s remarks on the Indian Constitution. Kher, 56, supporting Anna Hazare’s hunger strike, had said, “The constitution should be thrown away.” However, the actor denies the remark. “I only said that a lot of time has lapsed since the Constitution was framed and there is nothing wrong in revisiting it,” he said.
