It is a Greek work that means first. She had always wanted a daughter, her firstborn being a son, and throughout her pregnancy fervently hoped for one.

Rishona’s birth has made her so happy that every time she is out for a shoot, she makes sure to buy dresses and accessories for her baby girl, who she hopes, will grow into a fashionista.

Recently, on a visit abroad, Rituparna returned with an entire suitcase of stuff for her daughter, only realising how much she had bought when she started unpacking.
