Seems one of SLB’s assistants had a meeting with the Big Man. Not wanting to be late, he rushed out of a restaurant without paying the bill. The realisation hit him when he was seated across the producer-director-and now-composer.

He blurted out the blunder to Bhansali and was made to return to the eatery, pronto, and settle up. Bhansali didn’t want the money to be cut from the poor waiter's salary.
