Ajay Devgn visited Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. He shared his picture from the visit on Friday.

Ajay Devgn paid a visit to Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. He took to his Instagram handle and shared picture from his visit on Friday. He performed puja at the temple and expressed via his post that he wanted to come here since a very long time. Recently, he saw release of his latest movie Drishyam 2. In the picture, Ajay posed in the the temple premises with garlands around his neck. He wore a a blue sweatshirt and black pants. He kneeled down to the floor and offered prayers with the help of a priest. There were a lot of devotees in the background. A police personnel also stood behind him. Ajay kept his eyes closed in the photo.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Ajay wrote, “Kashi vishwanath ke darshan (trident emblem emoji)." He continued and wrote, “ Been waiting for this for a very long time! Har har mahadev." One of his fans commented, “Har Har Mahadev legend.” Another fan commented, “Drishyam 2 ne toh faad di 100 crore (Drishyam 2 is doing well, it has entered 100 crore).” Other fan wrote, “Jai Mahakal.” Many fans posted Har Har Mahadev and dropped heart and folded-hands emojis on the picture.

Drishyam 2 was released on November 18 and has entered the 100 crore club. The film stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta and Saurabh Shukla. Drishyam was the the Hindi remake of hit Malayalam film of the same name, and was helmed by late director Nishikant Kamat. It was a commercial success. But Drishyam 2 is helmed by Abhishek Pathak after Nishikant's death in 2020. The film showcases the mysterious story of Vijay Salgaonkar (essayed by Ajay Devgn) and his family. In the movie, Tabu reprised her role as Meera Deshmukh, Inspector General of Police. The movie is produced by several people such as Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar.

Ajay will be seen in Bholaa with Tabu.
