Anupam Kher shows inside NMACC's 2000-seat Grand Theatre, says he's the first guest to enter. Watch

Anupam Kher has shared a video as he became the first guest to enter Mumbai's NMACC auditorium on Friday. He has shown the interiors of the cultural centre.

Anupam Kher has shared a video to show the inside of Mumbai's Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, which was opened for public with a grand launch on Friday. Several Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities, businessmen, sportspersons and politicians had attended the launch event. Anupam called NMACC one of the best in the world and said that he was the first guest to enter the venue.

Anupam Kher has shared a video to share a glimpse of NMACC.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “What a spectacular cultural centre Nita and Mukesh Ambani have built in the heart of Mumbai! Undoubtedly one of the best in the world. So proud to be the 1st guest to enter the newly built auditorium! And attend the inaugural show Civilisation To Nation brilliantly directed by my friend#Feroz Abbas Khan. Jai ho…"

In the video, Anupam shows around the interiors of the NMACC. A huge stage overlooks the massive seating area, which looks all the more grand with several balconies on the side and an additional floor with the seating area. Anupam says, “Duniya ke kisi bhi cultural centre se iska muqabla ho sakta hai, balki main to kahunga aur bhi better hai unse (this can be compete with the cultural centres around the world, I would say this is even better than them).” He said the ‘state of the art’ centre was now our ‘desh ki dharohar (heritage of India)’.

NMACC was inaugurated on Friday with a star-studded event that had all from Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Gigi Hadid, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Karan Johar and many others in attendance.

According to ANI, India's first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary cultural space, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, showcases India's finest offerings in music, theatre, fine arts, and crafts. The Cultural Centre is home to three performing arts spaces: the majestic 2,000-seat Grand Theatre, the technologically advanced 250-seat Studio Theatre, and the dynamic 12S-seat Cube. It also features the Art House, a four-storey dedicated visual arts space built as per global museum standards with the aim of housing a shifting array of exhibits and installations from the finest artistic talent across India and the world. Spread across the Centre's concourses is a captivating mix of public art by renowned Indian and global artists, including 'Kamal Kunj' -- one of the largest Pichwai paintings in India.
