On Friday, actor Dia Mirza shared a picture of her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi. Actors Kareena Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Amrita Arora reacted to the post.

Actor Dia Mirza shared a picture of her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi on Instagram. This is the first time when Dia has shared a solo picture of Avyaan. Dia and her husband Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed Avyaan on May 14, 2021. However, they waited until July to announce it to the world as Avyaan was born premature. Sharing the picture, Dia wrote, “A new milestone, a whole lot of love and gratitude always. Thank you for being ours. Photo by Me. Baby by Us @vaibhav.rekhi. #SunsetKeDiVane."

Actor Amrita Arora commented, “Cutie.” Actor Neha Dhupia wrote, “Oh my goodness.” Actor Kareena Kapoor said, “God bless you pudding.” Tahira Kashyap, Bipasha Basu, and Amrita Kak dropped heart emojis in the comments section. One fan commented, “He is such a cute baby.” Another one said, “Nazar na lage.”

Dia had tied the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi in a simple private ceremony on February 15 last year.

Dia had shared the news of Avyaan's birth with a note on social media. In the note, she mentioned how Avyaan arrived amid lot of challenges and has taught them to trust the universe. "As we watch this tiny being, this Zen master in awe and wonder, we learn from him, in all humility, the true meaning of trusting the universe and of parenthood. And to not be afraid, and so we humbly take the lead from his resilience and courage. We do not have enough words to thank all those who continue to help us live this story of hope and faith and create a safe, healing, nurturing space for Avyaan and I,” she wrote.
