India may have lost to South Africa on Saturday, but for World Cup fans, the match marked a new high. As Bollywood stars — Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Rahul Bose — cheered for team India, live in Nagpur, social networking sites were abuzz with good luck messages and later, jokes on Team India’s loss.

Abhishek tweeted, “My 1st ever live India cricket match... And I witness the god of cricket score a century! feel blessed!” The mood quickly changed to anger, once India lost the match. “Dentures made of Ashish Nehra’s teeth available for free,” tweeted a user, after Nehra was hit for a boundary in the last over. Despite the loss, “with eight big teams coming into play, it’s going to get much bigger,” says Shiv Karan Singh of the Smoke House Deli.
