Cops detain Sanyal on a film shoot

Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal was detained by police while shooting on Marine Drive, Mumbai, for the film PRAGUE. The actor was stopped by the police when they saw him riding a bike and a camera following him.

The cops questioned him and figured out that the shoot was being done without permission. Since Marine Drive is under high security, they took him and the film crew to the Marine Lines police station.

The actor tried to convince them, but they did not relent, until the head inspector came to his rescue. He recognised Sanyal from his previous film F.A.L.T.U.

Although, the senior cop was agitated, being a fan of the actor’s work he permitted them to shoot for the night, only on a condition that a police vehicle would be around all time.
