Courtney Love was outraged at a fan, who held up a picture of her late husband Kurt Cobain during her band Hole’s appearance at Brazil’s SWU festival on November 13.
The 47-year-old rocker put her show to a halt at the Sao Paulo event to call out a concertgoer in the crowd brandishing a photo of the late Nirvana frontman.
“I don’t need to see a picture of Kurt, a**hole, and I’m going to have you f**king removed if you keep holding that up. I’m not Kurt, I have to live with his f**king s**t and his ghost and his kid every day,” the Daily star quoted the singer as saying.
“Throwing that up is stupid and rude and I’m going to beat the f**k out of you if you do it again.
The furious rockstar then removed her guitar and flashed her middle finger as she walked offstage.
“Great, we’ll leave now. F**k you!” she said.
Love and her bandmates later re-emerged after a member of her entourage encouraged the crowd to chant, Foo Fighters are gay, taking aim at the rockers’ frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
The singer then took a dig at Grohl herself.
“I don’t care what you listen to at home, but if a guy takes money off my kid’s table, f**k him,” she added.
