This Sunday, ride a bicycle to create awareness about saving fuel. Mocha Trip, an activity by Mocha Mojo, in association with Gear-The Bike Shop, will organise a cycle ride around Bandra. The idea is to create awareness about cycling, and saving fuel and also to give Mumbaikars an opportunity to explore Bandra’s bylanes.

“There are several reasons to make this trip — fitness, cycling, saving fuel or just spending some quality time together with like-minded people. Also, such a trip gives people an opportunity to try something new,” says Bhupendra Singh, Mocha Mojo.

The journey will take cyclists around the lanes of Bandra. Starting from Mocha Mojo, it will move down to Chapel Road. From there the road will take you towards Lilavati Hospital, and then let you rekindle the legacy of Mehboob Studio. From there, head to Bandstand and after a halt to soak in the sea, the trip will end at Mocha Mojo, after a final lap at Carter Road. People can join at any point. Singh says, “Those who do not have cycles, can just call us or drop an email and we will help them rent a cycle.”

And if the trip converts you into a cycling enthusiast, you can also attend a workshop on getting to know your bike. The workshop, conducted by experts from Gear-The Bike Shop, will tell you how to handle and care for your bike and answer bicycle-related queries. So, ride on.
