The youth did not leave a suicide note, but speculation is rife that he was part of a large crowd that had gathered to see the actress. Katrina herself is not aware of the incident. A friend of the actress says, “Katrina doesn’t know about the incident. We haven’t told her as yet.” A source from the sets of the film, too, says, “The unit is not aware of it.”

Obessive fans going to extremes is nothing new. A fan of Kangna Ranaut recently landed in Mumbai from Indore and started hanging out outside the gym where she works out. He requested a meeting with the actress, denied which he went on a hunger strike. He left only after Kangna met him and read a letter he had brought along.

Asin got a shock when a fan followed her all over Singapore — clicking her, posing as her bodyguard and shooing away people. He waited in her hotel lobby. The actor was so scared she took the next flight home.
