Divas take a walk

Bollywood brought loads of glamour to the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW), which concluded Wednesday.

Actors who scorched the ramp at the event, held in Mumbai, included Bipasha Basu who wore an ink blue Nishka Lulla lehenga choli teamed with an intricate diamond set and Malaika Arora Khan who played showstopper for another jewellery brand in a sexy Swapnil Shinde yellow and emerald sari-gown. Malaika sported a striking neckpiece with diamonds, emeralds and blue sapphires shaped like flowers. Actor Juhi Chawla, too, looked every bit regal as she showed off a stylish choker. She wore a black and silver sari during her ramp stint on the third day of the event.

Actor Sushmita Sen barely escaped a fashion mishap as her long black skirt got entangled in her high heels. And guess who came to her rescue? Her mother, who rushed from the front row to save her from the embarrassment.
