Hrehaan is like Hrithik and Hridhaan is like me: Sussanne Roshan
In a candid chat, Sussanne Roshan says her elder son Hrehaan is like his father, Hrithik Roshan, while the younger one takes after her. It is hard to see any acrimony which may have led to the very public split with Hrithik late last year.entertainment Updated: Feb 18, 2014 19:07 IST
After her very public split with actor Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne K Roshan (left), also a celebrated interior designer and a mother of two, can’t stop talking about her kids, Hrehaan and Hridaan.
“Hrehaan is like his father. He is extremely intelligent; he is superb in calculations. But, he is a very quiet boy, who is inquisitive about things around him,” says Sussanne, while talking about her seven-year-old son, Hrehaan.
Her face also brightens up when she starts talking about her five-year-old son. “Hridaan is just like me. He is a very happy-go-lucky, fun child and doesn’t complain about anything. He is always smiling and is a complete rockstar,”
says, adding, “He is also an artist, his handwriting is beautiful. Once when I went to his school, his teacher gave me his book and said that she would keep his book, and show it to the other children in his class so that they could see and learn to have a beautiful handwriting. I think it’s inherent, and that’s what genes are all about.”
Talking further about her children,
says, “My kids are my energy. They have a very strong sense of design in them already at this age and they love to see my work, they love to sit with me and see all the houses that I am designing. They get inspired by the design stuff and certain kind of games on their iPad, or design apps where they build homes.”
When asked who she thinks is capable of bearing the torch of Bollywood among the young lot of actors in the industry these days, she is quick to opine: “I really like Ranbir, I think he is very talented and has got that naughtiness that can make him the next number one in Bollywood. It’s not only about his surname but, I think, he is very versatile and plays character roles. Among the girls, I like Kalki very much. I think she is beautiful in a very intriguing, mysterious way and that sets her apart. I think she is another person who can grow.”
