Bipasha Basu is fuming over child labour accusations after she posted a picture of two girls tying her shoelaces. Not one to keep quiet over the allegations, the actress clears the air about the issue, reports Sonakshi Babbar.

Bipasha Basu is fuming over child labour accusations after she posted a picture of two girls tying her shoelaces. The actress has taken to the Twitter to clear the air about controversy.

"A pix put 4 fun gt picked up by ppl as 'child labour' is absolutely unbelievable. Jst so tht al get it right: neither of the 2 r children! Abt d pix, D pair of boots were a diff pair so my sis and my friend were helping me n I thought it looked damn funny n took d pix as a joke!(sic)," Bipasha posted on her Twitter page.

"Well the ppl helping me in the pix r my friend n sister, Who I help often with the same! So am sorry if it hurt anyones sentiments! (sic)", she adds.

Though the actress deleted the pic from Twitter, she is visibly upset with the furore around her 'innocent' pic. "But I am shocked tht a small thing like this can turn into a furore hitting out on my character and being, Totally Unacceptable!" the actress tweeted.

The Bong bombshell asserts the the pic was posted in good humour she posted on Twiiter, "I m nt embarrassed abt d pix At al, as it ws funny 2 me n still is!"

Apparently the actress believes that people should do something about child labour instead of making a mountain out of mole hill, "I wish tht d ones who created such a furore n reacted imm'ly, actually do something worthy against child labour. Also 'child labour' is a serious issue tht can't b used in such a light connotation."

On being asked about the controversy at a recent event in the capital, the actress had retorted, "I think you should read my post on Twitter. It's not child labour, that's all I can say."

The issue has send the Twitterworld into a frenzy. Bipasha's fans are divided into two camps, while some support her by saying, "I agree with u, completely took the homour from it"(sic), others condemn her for being insensitive.
