What is it that you love about Delhi?
Delhi has given me my character. It also gave me work, marriage and my children. It is a city of dreams, of sweat and grime, and yet helps build our character. I love it.

Where do you party in Delhi?
I simply love the ambience of Zest (Tel: 43119900) at DLF Emporio, Vasant Kunj and Threesixty at The Oberoi (Tel: 24363030).

Your favourite Delhi food?
I’m fond of Chinese cuisine and love going to China Garden (Tel: 9818093373) on MG Road.

Your favourite market?
There are many shops around Paranthe wali Gali in Chandni Chowk where I find exotic beads for clothes I design.

Where do you dine when you have money to splurge?
It has to be The Orient Express at Taj Palace (Tel: 26110202).

Where did you go on your first date?
Machan, the Coffee Shop at The Taj Mahal on Mansingh Road. (Tel: 23026162)

Your favourite bookstore?
Om Book Store (6143530) at Aurobindo Place Market, Hauz Khaz.

Where do you love to unwind?
The flyover at Safdurjung Airport at night. It is a beautiful sight to see the lamppost, the curve of the flyover and the city below. Also, I sit all by my self at the Terrace Café (Tel: 46084999) at DLF Emporio, and observe people.

Phone numbers of your...
Hairdresser: Alex at Silhouette, The Oberoi (Tel: 24363030)
Florist: I pick flowers from the corner shop at phool mandi in Mehrauli.
