In a recent talk show where the actor appeared alongside his father, he clarified that after a disastrous first marriage he has vowed never to get hitched again, reported Us magazine.
"I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot. But not again," said the Ocean's Eleven star.
The 49-year-old filmmaker was married to 51-year-old actress Talia Balsam for four years. The couple split in 1993.
Clooney and Canalis, 32 have been dating since 2009 and the model seems to be enjoying the company of one of the world's most eligible bachelor.
"There are some people who just don't want to see me happy," Canalis complained.
"George reassures me all the time. He is very close. I feel more embraced than ever before. The idea of being so loved is overwhelming. George has given colour back to my life," added Canalis.
