Another source said that the duo fell in love making X-Men so it had a lot of importance for them and both the actors were now looking forward to spending time together again.
The source continued that Lawrence and Hoult's split was never bitter and they only ended things because they were struggling to see each other enough.
"He's been calling her and they've been speaking regularly on Skype. Their relationship is getting closer and his family would love for them to get back together," a source told OK magazine.
The duo are reuniting for X-Men Apocalypse; they met on the sets of the franchise and fell in love.
