“From Juhu 2 airport have been on the road for 2 hours already. Mumbai breaks down in rains,” filmmaker Shekhar Kapur posted on his Twitter page. Actor Sandhya Mridul wrote: “One night of rain and can sadly see the city falling apart... if I miss my flight in spite of leaving 2.5 hours before departure who can I sue!? (sic)”

Actor Bipasha Basu however, is taking the water-logging with a pinch of humour. “Surprised to step out of my house and find myself in Venice! Just need to swap my car for a Gondola and my driver for a handsome gondola guy!,” she posted.

Designer Manish Malhotra and actor Arshad Warsi, too, seemed to be in love with the weather.
