Singer Jennifer Hudson celebrated her engagement to fiancé David Otunga by also proposing to her husband-to-be on his birthday. The professional wrestler popped the question to Hudson on her birthday back in September, 2008, and few months later the Dreamgirls star presented him with his own ring to show others he was taken, reported Daily Mirror.

"He proposed to me on my birthday and he would complain that he didn't have an engagement ring. He would say, 'You have a ring, but how are they going to know I'm taken?' So I had a ring made and then I gave it to him as his birthday gift on his birthday and the way that I gave it to him was like, 'Now will you marry me!' So I kind of proposed to him too," Hudson said.

The couple are planning to wed later this year, but Hudson refused to reveal the date.
