Jiah Khan may have been murdered, says mother

It's been four months since the death of actress Jiah Khan. While the rumours surrounding her suicide have finally begun to simmer down, reports suggest that her mother has moved the High Court petitioning for a CBI probe into her daughter's death.

While the rumours surrounding her suicide have finally begun to simmer down reports suggest that her mother has moved the High Court petitioning for a CBI probe into her daughter's death.



Jiah's mother Rabia, has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court alleging her daughter could have been "murdered". Rabia has further sought a CBI inquiry into the case.



In her petition, Rabia states that she has strong reasons to believe that the investigation has been hushed up at the behest of the police who had pre-decided to carry out the probe in such a manner that the truth did not come out.

Apart from this, Rabia also claims that there were injury marks on Jiah's body and no attempt was made by the police to ascertain their cause.



Jiah Khan of Nishabd fame was found hanging from the ceiling at her Juhu residence on June 3, late night. Aspiring actor Sooraj Pancholi has been alleged for abetting actress Jiah Khan's suicide. Pancholi is out on bail after a 20-day ordeal in prison.
