Now, John Abraham has something that’s one of its kind in the whole world. No, we are not referring to Bipasha Basu. We’re talking about his new custom-made motorcycle that draws inspiration from the popular American racing bike of 1910, Board Track Racer.

Though the actor’s herd of motorbikes boasts of some super racers, like the Suzuki Hayabusa and a Yamaha R1, the man behind John’s new love tells us that this one’s truly special. “Every thing on the bike — the chassis, gas tank, rims and breaks — has been hand-made over a period of 50 days,” says Vijay Singh of the Jaipur-based Rajputana Customs, that specialises in customising motorbikes.

Singh, 24, who flew to Mumbai three days ago to give the bike to John, says “It’s subtle, simple and yet it stands out, much like John.”

And it’s not only the actor who has gained from the association. As a bike-connoisseur, John’s inputs on the design and technicalities of the bike have been enlightening for Singh too. “John is so well versed about two-wheelers that it was a pleasure sitting with him and going over every aspect of the bike,” he says.

Singh, who is already receiving requests for the same bike on the firm’s Facebook page says, “A similar RE 500cc single-cylinder machine will come for Rs 3-4 lakh... but an exact replica of John’s bike is not possible, that’s only for him.”
