Kareena’s award raises eyebrows

Bebo agreed to perform for the Star Screen awards function only on the condition of being given the Best Actress Award in the Popular Category.

Talking of awards, a lot of hue and cry is being raised about Kareena Kapoor winning the Star Screen award in the popular category for Kurbaan and 3 Idiots. Already, there is talk about Katrina Kaif being promised the award, but eventually the organisers gave it to Bebo.

Another section of the grapevine claims that it was only on the condition of being given the Best Actress Award in the Popular Category that Bebo agreed to perform for the function. Of course she did get paid for her act too, but I’m told it was a discounted fee adjusted against the trophy.

If Kareena's friends are to be believed, the actress doesn’t really care too much for awards.
