"It's true - they are engaged. Leandro proposed to Katie while they were away skiing recently - and she said yes. They told her children but had intended to keep it a secret for a while," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

"No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both quite relaxed about that for the time being," said the source.

Price met Penna in early 2011 at Sir Elton John's Oscars party, just months after her split from second husband, cage fighter Alex Reid.

Before Reid, Price was married to singer Peter Andre.
