Singer Katy Perry, who is weeks away from getting married to her fiancé Russell Brand, says she has a crush on music mogul Simon Cowell.

"I just love Simon," dailystar.co.uk quoted her as saying. "Simon and Russell actually do have lots of the same characteristics, so it's not surprising I've got a soft spot for him.

"They're both really confident and have that brilliant sarcastic sense of humour. I find them both really entertaining." However, Simon who's engaged to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy has made no secret of his fondness for Katy.

"She's a feisty little thing. She's quirky and she's definitely got her own opinion. I like that," said Simon.
