The two-bedroom Tribeca duplex sold for close to its 1.7 million pounds asking price, according to Page Six, New York Post's gossip column.

Brand filed for divorce from the pop star late last year and they are going through the legal process of making the split official.

Perry has now taken one step closer to putting married life behind her by offloading the luxurious Manhattan penthouse which she bought just weeks before exchanging vows with Brand in India in October 2010.
