Hollywood actress Eva Longoria's Las Vegas restaurant and nightclub is filing for bankruptcy after reaching debts of USD 5.7 million.

The 35-year-old Desperate Housewives star alongwith business partner Todd English launched the Sin City branch of Beso in December 2009, but the business venture has encountered financial difficulty, reported Contactmusic.

According to lawyers, Beso executives owed nearly USD 1.8 million and the company was expected to rack up losses of more than USD 76,000 a month.

Longoria owns a third of Beso and recently boosted the business with USD 1 million loan using her own cash and covered USD 375,000 in legal fees.

But now, in a bid to keep the venue open the owners are filing for bankruptcy.
