On Sunday afternoon, Priyanka Vadra made a rare public appearance with husband Robert and their two children — Raihan and Miraya — at an event in the city, leaving guests surprised.
On Sunday afternoon, Priyanka Vadra made a rare public appearance with husband Robert and their two children — Raihan and Miraya — at an event in the city, leaving guests surprised.
Priyanka turned up at the Taj Mahal hotel to show her support for Artiger — a project using art to raise awareness about tiger conservation. Dressed in black trousers, a white shirt and a knit vest, she looked effortlessly cool as she went about appreciating the fibreglass tigers — 58 in total — designed by artists such as Anjolie Ela Menon, Arpita Singh and Seema Kohli.
“Though they aren’t directly involved with the project, the Vadras were there to show support to a cause that urgently needs our attention,” says Aprajita Jain, an art curator involved with the project. Though the organisers had reserved seats in the front row for the Vadra family, they opted to sit at the back. This was followed by lunch, after which they made a quiet exit.
