Teen singing sensation, Miley Cyrus seems to have found a new love companion 'Mate', a cute German shepherd whom she carried along for a session in Hollywood.

Miley Cyrus seems to have found a new companion in a German sherpherd as she turned up for a session in Hollywood with the white dog in tow.

The dog was a gift from her parents, who wanted her to have a dog just like one her father Billy Ray owns.

The 17-year-old has named the dog 'Mate', which is inspired by her current love, Melbourne-born actor Liam Hemsworth, who got her hooked on the using the word,
