Till now, Vodafone's ZooZoo had edged out other cellphone network ads on the small screen. But it seems that Hrithik Roshan has edged out ZooZoo.
Hrithik has proved that he is the ultimate star - with his heart-touching performance in multiple commercials, which were rolled out during the ongoing ICC tournament for a mobile company.
Ever since the ICC 20:20 has begun, the ads featuring Hrithik have created quite a stir due to their emotional appeal. In the ad, Hrithik acts his own persona - that of an actor - who realises that he needs to reach out to his friends from the past in spite of his stardom. His physical appeal apart, the commercials have more often than not, led to moist eyes or brought a smile due to their high-impact narrative.
So whether it is Hrithik reaching out to his school teacher from his younger days or his friends - one of them holidaying while fishing, another in a boardroom meeting or one of his teen fans or the old light man from his earlier films - each of the commercials has worked in a big way due to its excellent storyline which has been narrated well in 30 seconds. It's all about 'connecting with people'!
So, move over ZooZoo, Hrithik is here. He has managed to make a better 'connection'.
