Nanda gets engaged

Sanjiv Nanda pops the question to long time girlfriend. Their love seems to have held on through the tough times

Hotelier Sanjiv Nanda, who recently got acquitted in the BMW hit and run case that went on for 10 years, got engaged to his long time girlfriend — designer Medha Bhatnagar on Sunday. Sanjiv took Medha to Udaipur on the pretext of a holiday and at midnight proposed to her by slipping a diamond band on her finger. He then informed his parents who were attending a wedding in Mumbai.

Sanjiv told HT City, “I am happy as I have got engaged to the girl I love.” Medha had been with Nanda through thick and thin and regularly visited him in jail.

Sanjiv’s sister Sonali Nanda Punj is planning a grand celebration for her brother’s engagement on December 12. “I’m so happy that Sanjiv is finally getting a hold on his life.” The wedding is slated for March.
