The actor will meet police officers in the Muzaffarnagar district of north UP. “A lot of criminal activities like honour killing, kidnapping and robbery are prevalent in my native place, Rohana – a small village in Muzaffarnagar. I will meet and discuss the matter with the police in the district,” says Nawazuddin.

The actor believes that being a familiar face across the country, thanks to his powerful performances in recent films like the Gangs of Wasseypur series (2012) and Talaash (2012), he can make a difference and do good for the society. “I am always tensed for my parents, friends and relatives who stay there. You never know who will be harmed. I hope I can help,” says the actor.
