No wedding gifts for royal couple

Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are due to exchange vows in London on April 29, have asked guests not to give them gifts but instead make donation to a charitable fund, which will distribute the money to their favourite good causes.

A statement from Buckingham Palace reads: “Having been touched by the goodwill shown to them since the announcement of their engagement, Prince William and Miss Middleton have asked that anyone who might wish to give them a wedding gift consider giving instead to a charitable fund.”
