Norah Jones, Anoushka Shankar bid final adieu to dad
Grammy-award winning singer Norah Jones and her step-sister Anoushka Shankar immersed the ashes of their late father, sitar virtuoso Pandit Ravi Shankar, in Varanasi on Tuesday.

Grammy-award winning singer Norah Jones and her step-sister Anoushka Shankar immersed the ashes of their late father, sitar virtuoso Pandit Ravi Shankar, in Varanasi on Tuesday.
The rituals were attended only by close family members including Anoushka’s English husband, Joe Wright, and her mother, Sukanya.
The family got on a boat and went to the middle of the Ganges to immerse the ashes.
