On Sunday, our photographer spotted this young girl playing the violin on the streets of Connaught Place. Surprised to see such a scene in the city, passers by wondered who the artist was.

On Sunday, our photographer spotted this young girl playing the violin on the streets of Connaught Place. Surprised to see such a scene in the city, passers by wondered who the artist was. They stood, watched, dropped compliments, and even coins! Later, it turned out that the unidentified girl was a college student, shooting a scene for a documentary film, and had chosen the setting for the pigeons that perched around.

Clearly, Delhi will have to wait for its share of real street performers.
