‘Some alarms, sometimes…,’ Travis Kelce's brother is concerned about him as he dates Taylor Swift

Amid the massive spotlight on Travis and Swift, Travis' brother Jason Kelce is concerned about the NFL star's safety.

The love story between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift is receiving massive attention worldwide. Ever since Swift first cheered for Kansas City Chiefs' star Travis while watching him play live in an NFL match, the two have become more public about their relationship. Since then, Swift has attended multiple NFL matches with Travis in action. Recently, the couple marked their appearance on the season 49 premiere of Saturday Night Live. The pair also had dinner together at Japanese restaurant Nobu in NYC.

Amid the massive spotlight on Travis and Swift, Travis' brother Jason Kelce is concerned about the NFL star's safety. In an interaction with NBC Sports, Jason talked about the level of hullabaloo involving Travis and Swift.

“It’s certainly been weird, the level that it is now,” said Jason.

“On one hand, I’m happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he’s excited about [and] that he is genuine about. But there’s another end of it where it’s like, ‘Man, this is a lot,’” he added.

Jason provided insight into the changing public life of his brother Travis and weighed in on how the fans' extra attention and media spotlight is making him concerned about the NFL star's security.

“There’s paparazzi talking about him fueling his car before the game today and I’m like, ‘Is that really necessary information to share?. This is another level of stardom that typically football players don’t deal with,” said Jason.

“So, on one hand, [I’m] really, really happy for my brother and where he’s at in his current situation with Taylor. But on the other hand, there’s some, I think, alarms sometimes with how you know, over-in-pursuit people can be,” he added.

“There’s some alarms, sometimes, with how over-in-pursuit people can be. Overall, he can deal with some of this. As long as it’s not becoming a threat to his safety and things like that,” said Jason.
