Portman plays a kick-butt warrior princess who has a penchant for swimming in next to nothing.
Though she appeared fully nude in Wes Anderson's short film
Hotel Chevalier
and showed much of her behind as a stripper in Closer, this is the first film in which the 29-year-old actress' nudity is simply offered up as an eyeful for the audience.
Danny McBride co-writer and star of the movie has admitted jocularly to having ''gratuitous nudity'' in the weed-friendly homage to 1980s camp fantasies like
Conan the Barbarian
and
Beastmaster.
"We pride ourselves on historical inaccuracies. We did research to do it wrong," he said.
Your Highness
is set for release April 8, 2011.
