Prateik, Amy just good friends!
It seems like Prateik has found a new love interest in British model-actress, Amy Jackson. For the uninitiated, the duo are working together in Gautam Menon’s upcoming movie, Ek Deewana Tha.
It seems like Prateik has found a new love interest in British model-actress, Amy Jackson. For the uninitiated, the duo are working together in Gautam Menon’s upcoming movie, Ek Deewana Tha, which will also mark Amy’s Bollywood debut.
Apparently, Prateik and Amy have grown close during the filming of the movie. Sources contend that the two hit it off right from the word go while on the sets. “Prateik, who is generally a shy lad, is very different in Amy’s presence. Whenever they are together, he is always laughing with her,” says a source close to Prateik.
At the GQ Awards on Thursday, Prateik was to be given the Young Achiever Award. But things became interesting when he went out of his way to contact the organizers, and inform them that he would be bringing along a special guest.
“And everyone was surprised to see Prateik walk in with Amy on his arm,” says the source. The two actors have been shooting together for the past six months in the backwaters of Kerala, and in Chennai and Pondicherry.
Apparently, the two bonded since they were about the same age, while the rest of the unit was much older. When contacted about his new girlfriend, Prateik laughs: “I would only say that we are good friends.”
Amy won the Miss Teen World competition in 2008, and starred in the 2010 Tamil flick, Madrasapattinam.
